The world wasn’t built for your brain.

Read that again. You’ve probably felt like the reverse is true. Your brain wasn’t built for the world. And maybe that’s been true sometimes. But here, YOU are the priority, first and foremost.

Maybe you have a brain that fires on all cylinders all the freaking time, feels like it never stops, and keeps you constantly on edge. You lose things. One afternoon doctor’s appointment sends you into “waiting mode” all day. You finally implement a routine and a week later your brain thinks it is boring and can’t possibly do those things in that order again. You thrive when you have to think on your feet, hyperfocus kicks in and you are nothing short of spectacular, and then the next day it all seems to fall apart again.

Your brain may crave predictability, structure, and routine. If someone would just give you the syllabus for life, that would be freaking great. Humans feel like a mystery sometimes, and you find yourself in tricky situations with no idea how you got there. You go out into the world and function for a while, before the masking gets completely exhausting and you crash for hours, or even days.

Even more complicated, your brain might need both. One moment it wants the mundane of a prescribed set of steps, the next it wants something shiny, fun, and new, and you don’t know what you will crave from one moment to the next. It is a never ending push and pull of needs. And that doesn’t even get into sensory overload or social sh*t.

Believe or not, it doesn't have to be this way. Just imagine:

Riding the waves of energy and focus when they come, and mastering the dance of working with your brain, instead of against it.

Unearthing your true self beneath the lifetime of masking, people pleasing, and completely all encompassing emotions to know who you really are, instead of just who you pretend to be.

Having actual practical strategies and tools to get through the day, know when you need to rest and recharge, how to find your keys, and creating an environment that your brain can thrive in.

Knowing exactly what to do in those moments that everything feels like way too much, and how to help your brain and body deal with it all.

Relationships with people who really see all of the wonderful facets that make you who you are, celebrate the wins and have patience for the challenges, knowing that you aren’t doing this sh*t on purpose, it’s a can’t vs. a won’t.

Therapy for Neurodivergence Can Help

No matter how many letters you’ve got in your diagnosis, you can thrive as your whole self. And I can help you get there.

Therapy for neurodivergence helps you do 3 things:

  • Really dig deep into the intricacies of how your brain functions. Because we aren’t all 8 year old boys who can’t sit still. What does your flavor of neurodivergence mean for you, and how does it show up in your specific life?

  • Explore your history and relationships and how those intersect with your Autism, ADHD, AuDHD, Anxiety, or any other super fun letters you may have been given already. Basically how did we get here, and how can we use that data to inform the present day?

  • Develop practical, actionable skills and strategies to work with your brain, increase emotional regulation, find ways to support your executive functioning, and be your best self as much as possible.

I’ll be right by your side through this process, tailoring each step to your unique needs and experiences. No one gets a manual when it comes to their brain, and we are all just muddling through as best we can with what we know. My approach to therapy for neurodivergence comes from a place of hope and knowledge: you have the skills and tools to be the person you want to be, you just need a little help unpacking and applying them.

You can book a consult without ever talking to a real person. Seriously, like 3 clicks.
